Located in Ontario’s Georgian Bay area, the Village at Blue Mountain is nestled at the base of the ski slopes. The unusual shape of the mountain, which dominates the local landscape, is typical and characteristic of the Niagara escarpment.
The village master plan is developed around an artificial lake created to adhere to fundamental ecological principles and features its promenade bordered by boat houses. In the central plaza of the village, a water feature with in-ground jets brings life to the plaza, the terraces and the commercial streets. The Village at Blue Mountain enjoys year-round success due to a dynamic pedestrian core, and its host of year-round leisure activities.
