As a new neighbourhood north of Montreal, this luxurious residential area was designed according to Citées Jardin principles, and was built on a plateau covered by a dense forest of white oaks and pines. This project features narrow roads with central boulevards that respect the contours of the land and preserve the plant diversity of the local environment in this newly built neighbourhood.
In the second, more urban, phase of the project, a higher density is proposed with parks and open public spaces including various amenities. The layout of narrow streets and generous central boulevards facilitates the use of passive drainage strategies using bio-retention ponds throughout the development. An extension of the regional multifunctional pathway system crosses and interconnects the whole project.
