On the site of an old cardboard box factory, located on the south-west edge of the Rosemont- Petite Patrie neighbourhood, a new high density mixed use development will be built.

For this project, Projet Paysage designed a system of minimalist and traffic controlling access routes that maximises open public spaces for residents’ use. The large scale buildings (six to eight storeys high) planned for this site require considerable setbacks that provide the opportunity to create semi-public landscaped spaces of generous proportions, which are not often possible in current urban projects. The undesirable noise and visual aspect of the adjacent roads and overpass are lessened by the building facades and the creation of a hillock and promenade that provide a point of view towards Mont-Royal and the Montérégiennes. The whole project is accessible through the metropolitan bicycle path network which crosses the site.
