École des métiers de la construction
de Montréal

In collaboration with the school’s Principal and the consultants involved in this project, Projet Paysage elaborated a landscape architecture plan for l’École des métiers de la construction de Montréal. The project intent was to improve the quality of life for students and staff. In this objective, new main access paths to the building, rest areas, and gathering points were designed. These spaces were strategically located to fulfill the needs of the school’s departments and the functions of the building. The existing hardscaped and uninviting spaces were transformed with a variety of colourful and textured pavers, trendy outdoor furniture, and generous planting areas to provide a vibrant atmosphere.

Projet Paysage participated in the Borough’s meetings, prepared the presentation documents for the CSDM and CCU, elaborated and coordinated the production of construction plans and specification documents. The construction of this project is due to begin in 2010
